I just heard the most incredible share from my dear friend and client, Karl Pisor—a true pioneer and THE leader of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) in Japan.

(For those unfamiliar, EOS is a powerful business framework that helps entrepreneurs and leadership teams gain clarity, focus, and accountability, driving their businesses to new levels of success.)

Karl has gone above and beyond in bringing EOS to Japan, even translating two essential books into Japanese:

Beyond his expertise, Karl is a man with a heart of gold, matched by a level of dedication, education, and skill that makes him truly world-class.

A Moment Worth Recognizing

During a conversation today, Karl casually mentioned something that completely floored me.

He shared that a Japanese EOS coach—an exceptional professional in his own right—asked Karl to write a speech for him in Japanese.

He said it as if it were nothing, but I stopped him and asked him to take a breath with me. Why? Because he is extraordinary.

In my experience, it’s almost unheard of for a native Japanese speaker to ask a non-Japanese person to write something for them—especially at a professional level. This speaks volumes about Karl’s mastery of the language, his deep understanding of Japanese business culture, and the immense trust he has built.

Please take a moment to recognize and celebrate Karl for the remarkable leader and human being that he is.

And please always be open to recognize your own greatness and the greatness in others that they may overlook and acknowledge them for it.

Yours,

Bodhi
